At some point yesterday, on the anniversary of the September 11th attacks, gunmen stormed the U.S. Embassy in Libya killing Ambassador Christopher Stevens along with three embassy staff members and injuring 17 as they attempted to escape a burning consulate building in Benghazi. This attack took place shortly after an attack on the U.S. Embassy in Cairo. The apparent reason for the attack?: Apparently someone was making a film that painted the prophet Mohammed in a poor light, which, if you're trying to be historically accurate, isn't hard to do. Mohammed would have condoned a vicious attack such as this one as we know he used violence to dominate and control people. During his time of influence and reign Mohammed ordered followers to commit to violent Jihad and took an active role, performing countless killings and executions. He was a dictator who took part in nearly forty vicious militant raids over a nine year period that led to the deaths of countless innocents including “the Raid of Waddan,” “the Raid of Buwat,”
and “the Battle of Badr.”
These are spoken of in the sacred texts of the Hadith, within the Koran. Mohammed was a misogynist who advocated the subjugation of women and sex with children. This isn't my opinion. It's history.

So, in the shadow of two of our embassies being destroyed by Muslim extremists and four Americans being killed in Benghazi, including the U.S. Ambassador to a country we have been in the process of helping rebuild, we have to take a moment. We have to seriously look at how, as a nation, we will be lead in dealing with events such as this.
At the moment, our administration, including Secretary Clinton is attributing this attack to a "small, savage group". But the administration is leaving out a key part of the actual narrative in a transparent attempt to craft its own politically correct one.
This was a size-able, savage group of radical Islamic extremists attacking our Embassy on September 11th. And it wasn't just the attackers themselves. Look at the photos all over the internet. You can see the mobs of people dragging Ambassador Stevens' dead body around the streets. This wasn't just a small group of Al Queda-related militants who were running an operation. It was also group of angry Muslim supporters of that group who used some documentary some guy was producing as an excuse to kill innocent people in Libya.
THAT IS WHAT IT IS.
See, there is an ideological issue that progressives simply don't
understand. They truly believe, (and this is not an insult), that if
they show a soft hand - a delicate touch - the rest of the world will follow suit; that
somehow they are setting an example and that this example will actually
change the way the world IS. They believe that they can "finesse" these situations and "build bridges".
I'll admit; I once thought more like this.
Granted, that was back when I was nine years old. But I did believe
it. This approach is deeply misguided. It has been shown time and again throughout history that savagery met with benevolence begets more savagery.
Please see Obama's incredibly benign statement released early today for the morning news cycle :
I strongly condemn the outrageous attack on our diplomatic
facility in Benghazi, which took the lives of four Americans, including
Ambassador Chris Stevens. Right now, the American people have the
families of those we lost in our thoughts and prayers. They exemplified
America’s commitment to freedom, justice, and partnership with nations
and people around the globe, and stand in stark contrast to those who
callously took their lives.
I have directed my Administration to provide all necessary
resources to support the security of our personnel in Libya, and to
increase security at our diplomatic posts around the globe. While the
United States rejects efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of
others, we must all unequivocally oppose the kind of senseless violence
that took the lives of these public servants.
On a personal note, Chris was a courageous and exemplary
representative of the United States. Throughout the Libyan revolution,
he selflessly served our country and the Libyan people at our mission in
Benghazi. As Ambassador in Tripoli, he has supported Libya’s transition
to democracy. His legacy will endure wherever human beings reach for
liberty and justice. I am profoundly grateful for his service to my
Administration, and deeply saddened by this loss.
The brave Americans we lost represent the extraordinary service
and sacrifices that our civilians make every day around the globe. As we
stand united with their families, let us now redouble our own efforts
to carry their work forward.
This is a clear cut case of ideology and political posturing in lieu of
facing real, complex issues with clear, decisive and tough-minded
responses. The Obama Administration could not have put up a more bubblegum response to what happened and the realities on the ground. Three quarters of the statement issued by the White House talks fondly about Ambassador Stevens, his staff and the important work of diplomacy. This is fine, especially considering what a good man Stevens was, but the only substantive thing in this entire statement (which really carries no weight whatsoever) is: "...we must all unequivocally oppose the kind of senseless violence
that took the lives of these public servants..."
What? Really? Yeah, no shit Mr. President. And did you need to preface that with "...the
United States rejects efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of
others..."? Is this a thinly veiled apology?
This is so obnoxious. We "reject efforts to denigrate the religious belief of others"? Are you including a subtle subtext of justification here Mr. President? This is an insult to Americans and it's an insult to the families of those who lost their lives. It's also an insult to our cornerstone tenet of Freedom of Speech.
The Embassy in Egypt, possibly under the direction of the Administration, issued an official statement at some point yesterday saying; "The Embassy of the United States in Cairo condemns the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the feelings of Muslims..."
This is an apology for someone else offending the Prophet Mohammed. Absolutely ridiculous. This could only serve to embolden extremists.
I want to hear someone say: "I don't give a rat's ass what excuse these nutjobs thought they had. This is cold blooded murder and we're not going to tolerate it for a minute. If you want to attack us, plan on swift, deadly retaliation EVERY time! We're coming for you." That's a President.
Now, it's currently midday here on the East Coast of the United States. That makes it around dinner time in Benghazi. Thus far, we have done nothing other than send in a Marine security team to "secure" and "protect" our people there and assist with an evacuation. The world has seen nothing tangible from us, nothing ....Presidential. At 10:43am, the President came out swinging with "and...make no mistake, justice will be done." This is hours into the news cycle after his official statement has been plastered all over the world. And still, he's not selling me.
We all know these attacks are about religious extremism, not about some documentary that I'm certain the protesters and attackers never even saw.
Take a moment and think of the way the rest of the planet, including the ruthless, the power hungry, the murderous and the hateful hear the President's statement. As journalist Charles Krauthammer said just a few minutes ago on the air, "I would issue a statement saying 'Go to hell'..."
That's more like it.
May the victims of the attack, our fellow countrymen, rest in peace:
Christopher Stevens
Sean Smith
Glen Doherty
Tyrone Woods
